Get ready to have your worldview broadened when activist and bestselling author, Shane Claiborne, takes the dais at Stewardship Kaleidoscope 2026–Doing More in BaltiMORE, September 21-23, 2026.

A highly sought-after speaker at denominational gatherings, festivals, and conferences around the globe, Claiborne has worked with Mother Teresa in Calcutta, and is the founder of The Simple Way in Philadelphia. He also heads up Red Letter Christians, a movement of folks who are committed to living “as if Jesus meant the things he said.” Claiborne is a champion for grace which has led him to jail advocating for the homeless, and to places like Iraq and Afghanistan to stand against war. Now grace fuels his passion to end the death penalty and help stop gun violence.

His work has appeared in Esquire, SPIN, Christianity Today, TIME, and The Wall Street Journal, and he has been on everything from Fox News and Al Jazeera to CNN and NPR. Claiborne has given academic lectures at Harvard, Princeton, Liberty, Duke, and Notre Dame. In 2023, he received the prestigious The King Center’s Beloved Community Award for Social Justice from Dr. Bernice King, daughter of Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King.

In-person attendees will be able to choose from dozens of workshops including one offered by Shane Claiborne during Block B, Tues., Sept 22, 1:30p.m. in addition to attending diverse plenary sessions and worship experiences. Virtual attendees will be able to join us for live-streamed and recorded plenaries and worship, and will also have access to 8 workshops, 4 of which will be available via livestream. And remember, this year you can change the workshops you have selected at any time!

This year’s conference will be live in Baltimore, Maryland, September 21-23, 2026, with an online option as well. In-person attendees will be able to choose from dozens of workshops including one offered by Robert Hall during Block A, Mon., Sept 21, 4:00 p.m. in addition to attending diverse plenary sessions and worship experiences. Virtual attendees will be able to join us for live-streamed and recorded plenaries and worship, and will also have access to 8 workshops, 4 of which will be available via livestream. And remember, this year you can change the workshops you have selected at any time!

Registration rates as are follows:
-Early Bird In-Person Registration (through June 30): $375*
-First Call Pastor or Seminary Student In-Person Registration: $200
-Virtual Attendee Registration: $150
(*After June 30, regular In-Person Registration increases to $425)

A limited number of scholarships are also available to in-person attendees who are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), which would bring the registration cost to $200.
