2026 Stewardship Kaleidoscope introduces NEW workshop tracks, including: Reimagining Your Church Property

| Greetings from the Stewardship Kaleidoscope Planning Team! In response to the growing emphasis — and imperative — to re-envision church property as a tool for mission and ministry, we have curated a workshop track focused on the faithful and creative stewardship of church buildings and property. Join us in scenic Baltimore for the annual Stewardship Kaleidoscope Conference, September 21-23, hosted this year at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, where you will have the opportunity to choose from among these four distinct, property-focused workshops led by experts in the field: Stewarding Church Properties for the Future (A-14) will explore the feasibility of redevelopment of church buildings and property to better participate in God’s mission. Parish Properties, the Art of the Possible (B-15): will introduce key tools for successful planning for increased rental and partnerships, community hubs, housing and more. Tapping Community Funding: How to Message Your Capital Project for External Support (C-12): will look into different sources of property funding available through local stakeholders and new strategies for outreach and fundraising. God is Doing a New Thing: Innovative, Missional, and Sustainable Property Stewardship (D-11) will help equip your congregation with various options and solutions to finance social impact initiatives that utilize your church campus. Such projects could include affordable housing, food pantries, etc. You’ll be able to sign up for any or all of the above workshops during our quick and easy conference registration process. Already registered? No worries- new this year you can change your workshop selections as many times as you’d like. Interested in other stewardship-related workshops — theological, liturgical, basic or advanced, academic or practical, small church stewardship, giving in economically challenged congregations? Then this is the conference for you! From legacy/planned giving to theology/worship to stewardship marketing/communications plus other timely topics, we’ve got you covered! We are also very excited by this year’s line-up of plenary speakers and worship leaders, which we announced last week via the Presbyterian News Service: See Story Here. Sincerely, Stewardship Kaleidoscope Planning Team |
